In one paragraph. Subscription payments to MixedMetrics are not refundable. We make an exception only for a billing mistake on our side, a card payment you can show you never authorised, or a complete outage of the dashboard that you reported and we could not resolve. The live demo on our home page walks through example scenarios by business type, so you can see the blended view before you pay, and you can stop renewals yourself at any time.
Can I get my money back if MixedMetrics is not for us?
No. A plan pays for access to the dashboard, the connectors and the AI insights for a billing period, monthly or yearly, within the limits shown on the pricing page. That access starts in full on the first day of the period. We do not charge per report, per connector sync or per insight, so how much your team opened the dashboard has no bearing on the price.
You place the order asking us to begin the service right away. Where a statutory right of withdrawal or cooling off period would otherwise apply, you accept that it no longer applies once the service has begun at your request.
What does not count as a reason for a refund?
- Your team changed tools, cut its marketing budget, or no longer needs a blended dashboard.
- Nobody connected an ad account or store, or the dashboard was rarely opened during a paid period.
- Numbers in MixedMetrics differ from a platform's own interface because of attribution windows, time zones, currency conversion or delayed reporting on the platform side.
- An AI insight or alert did not match your own reading of the data. Insights are informational and depend on what your connectors return.
- A connected platform changed its API, revoked access, or limited the data it shares.
- A renewal was charged, including one that succeeded after earlier card attempts failed.
- You understood the plan as a one off payment. Pricing, checkout, the confirmation email and the billing page all describe it as recurring.
- The renewal date passed before you cancelled, or you cancelled immediately after it.
- A connector or feature you hoped for is not listed on the pricing page.
- You picked the wrong plan or billing period.
- The unused remainder of a period after cancelling. Access continues to its end and nothing is pro-rated.
- A colleague, contractor or client used the account with your login.
When will you return a charge?
Only in these three cases, only when the records described further down back it up, and only for the payment concerned.
- We billed you twice. Our billing took two payments for one period by mistake.
- The card was used without permission. Someone paid with your card without your consent, you tell us within 14 days of the charge, and our records and those of the payment operator support it. The evidence decides, not the statement, and we may ask you to confirm that you reported it to your card issuer.
- The dashboard did not work at all. A fault we confirmed on our side kept MixedMetrics entirely unavailable for a continuous period, you told us at the time, and we were unable to fix it. Slow loading, a single connector failing, outages of the connected platforms, and problems with your own network or browser are excluded.
An approved refund is limited to the amount paid for the affected period, is sent only to the original card, and is the whole of our liability for that payment. One approved refund does not make another one due.
How do I ask?
Email support@mixedmetrics.com from your account's email address within 14 days of the charge, with the date, the amount and the case that applies. Later requests and requests from other addresses are not reviewed. We answer in the order requests arrive and do not revisit a decision once made.
Filing a chargeback with your bank without writing to us first breaches our Terms of Service, and the account is then closed permanently.
How do cancelling and renewals work?
Your plan renews automatically until you cancel it. You can cancel on the billing page of your account without contacting us, and every renewal after that is switched off at once. The dashboard stays available until the end of the period already paid. A cancellation is not a refund request.
Each new period begins as the previous one ends, and its fee is due from then. If your card issuer declines the payment, the payment operator retries it over the next few days. The retries collect the same open invoice and are not new charges. Cancelling once a period has begun stops the renewals that follow, not the invoice for the current period, and a renewal collected late after retries is not refundable. Retries stop once the invoice is paid or written off. Cancel before the renewal date on your billing page to avoid the next charge.
What records do you keep?
By opening an account you accept our Terms of Service, which include this policy and our Privacy Policy. Checkout shows the plan, the price, the billing period and the automatic renewal before you pay, and the confirmation email restates them.
For every subscription we retain the time of purchase, the plan and price shown at checkout, your acceptance of the terms, the emails we sent, and an activity log for the account, covering sign ins, connectors linked, dashboards and reports viewed and exports, with the technical details recorded at the time. The payment operator holds its own record of each charge, including the card's country of issue, the location the payment came from and the result of bank authentication such as 3D Secure.
We check unauthorised charge claims against these records, and we provide the same records to the bank when a dispute is opened.
What about payments made before this policy?
A payment made before October 14, 2026 follows the terms that were in place when it was made.
