Marketing reporting software pricing: what 16 marketing dashboard and analytics tools cost

Comparing marketing reporting software on price is harder than it should be, because almost no two vendors charge for the same unit. One bills per client, one per dashboard, one per connected data source, one per million rows, one against your annual store revenue, and several will not publish a number at all. A $44 plan and a $300 plan can end up costing the same team the same money once the add-ons land.

This page puts the entry price, the pricing model, and the thing that actually makes the bill grow side by side for 16 tools we track, all read off the vendors' own pricing pages in July 2026. Where a vendor publishes in euros we say euros rather than inventing a dollar figure, and where a vendor quotes privately we say so instead of guessing. MixedMetrics is in the table too, from $79 a month, and we point out where a cheaper or better-shaped tool beats us.

The short answer

Marketing reporting software costs anywhere from $0 to well over $1,000 a month, and the spread comes from the pricing model, not the feature list. Agency reporting tools bill per client or per dashboard (AgencyAnalytics $20 per client per month, DashThis from $44 a month). Data pipelines bill per connector and per row (Supermetrics from $44 a month, Funnel.io from EUR 280 a month). Ecommerce attribution tools bill against your annual GMV or ad spend (Triple Whale from $219 a month, Northbeam reported near $1,500 a month). MixedMetrics starts at $79 a month, covering 5, 15 or unlimited connected sources by tier. Every price on this page was read off the vendor's own pricing page in July 2026.

Why it works

What you get with marketing reporting software pricing

01

Read off the vendor, not a listicle

Every figure here came from the vendor pricing page in July 2026, with the billing period stated. No recycled numbers from 2023 roundups.

02

The pricing model, not just the sticker

Per client, per dashboard, per source, per row, or per GMV. The unit is what decides your bill twelve months from now.

03

Where each one is honestly cheaper

We say plainly when a competitor costs less for your shape of team. The $79 entry plan is not the right answer for everyone.

In depth

How marketing reporting software is really priced

Which vendors refuse to publish a price at all?

Three of the sixteen tools on this page will not give you a number without a sales conversation, and it is worth knowing which before you budget. Improvado prices its Free Limited tier at $0 and an MCP Only tier at $100 a month, then quotes Advanced and Enterprise. Polar Analytics quotes entirely by store GMV. Domo publishes no dollar figure anywhere at all.

Domo is the most extreme case and the most interesting one, because it does document its mechanics in detail. Contracts are credit-based: one credit per table created or updated, one to three credits per ETL dataflow output table, one credit per million materialized storage rows per month if Domo manages storage, and 3.2877 credits per day for each external user needing their own instance. Internal seats are free and unlimited. What is never published is what a credit costs in dollars, and Domo states the rate falls as you commit to larger credit pools and longer terms, so no list price can exist. Our Domo alternative page breaks the whole model down.

Quote-only pricing is not automatically a red flag, and for genuinely enterprise platforms it is normal. It does mean two practical things for a buyer. You cannot benchmark the offer you receive against anything public, and the sales cycle itself becomes a cost measured in weeks. If you need a number this week, filter to the vendors above that publish one.

How much does marketing reporting software cost?

Most teams land between $50 and $300 a month. A solo marketer or a small agency can genuinely run on $44 to $120 a month with DashThis, Swydo, Databox, or MixedMetrics. A mid-sized agency reporting on 20 clients pays roughly $400 a month on AgencyAnalytics at $20 per client. A brand that wants pipeline-grade data collection starts at EUR 280 a month on Funnel.io, and a DTC brand buying multi-touch attribution is looking at $1,500 a month and up on Northbeam.

The free end is real but narrow. Looker Studio, Databox, Improvado, and Triple Whale all have a $0 tier, and each one is capped somewhere that matters: Looker Studio needs paid connectors for anything outside Google, Databox limits you to three sources, Improvado Free Limited caps you at 50 MCP actions a week, and the Triple Whale Founders Dash is a starter view rather than the product.

Why do marketing reporting tools price so differently?

Because they are solving different jobs and charging for whatever scales with that job. Agency reporting tools charge per client or per dashboard, since that is what grows as an agency grows. Data pipelines charge per source and per row, because moving data costs them money. Ecommerce attribution tools charge against GMV or ad spend, because a bigger merchant gets more value and can pay more. Dashboard builders charge per plan with a dashboard cap.

That is why an advertised entry price tells you almost nothing on its own. The honest question is which unit you are about to multiply. If you are an agency adding a client a month, a per-client price compounds; if you are one brand with nine channels, a per-source price compounds; if you are scaling from $2M to $10M in GMV, a GMV-linked price compounds hardest of all. Our best marketing dashboard comparison looks at the same tools on capability rather than cost.

  • Per client: AgencyAnalytics
  • Per dashboard: DashThis, Klipfolio Klips, Databox
  • Per data source or credit: Swydo, Supermetrics, Whatagraph, Databox add-ons
  • Per row or per AI action: Improvado, Supermetrics API tiers
  • Per GMV or ad spend: Triple Whale, Polar Analytics, Northbeam
  • Flat: MixedMetrics

What should an agency pay for client reporting software?

Work backwards from your client count, then sanity check it against your source count. Below about eight clients, dashboard-count pricing usually wins: DashThis at $44 a month for three dashboards or Swydo from $62 a month are cheaper than anything per-client. The caveat, since DashThis added source caps to its tiers in 2026, is that a few data-heavy clients can exhaust the 15 or 40 source allowance long before you run out of dashboards, and the only remedy is the next tier. Our DashThis pricing breakdown runs that math. Between roughly 10 and 40 clients, AgencyAnalytics at $20 per client per month billed annually is normally the best value in the category, and it is the cheapest route in this table to a genuine white-label client portal.

Above that, check the add-ons before you sign. AgencyAnalytics prices rank tracking separately at $41.67 a month per 500 keywords and its AI Tracker beta at $20.83 a month per 250 credits, so a 25-client agency doing serious rank tracking is not paying $500 a month, it is paying closer to $700. Whatagraph sits at the premium end at $812 a month billed annually. We are honest that MixedMetrics is an expensive tool if a white-label client deliverable is your core need, because that sits on our $449 Scale plan, which is why the AgencyAnalytics alternative page says so plainly.

What does marketing analytics software cost for an ecommerce brand?

DTC pricing is tied to your size, so the number moves with you. Triple Whale starts at $219 a month on Foundation and steps to $749 a month on Automate, priced against annual Shopify GMV. Polar Analytics dropped its public price list entirely and now quotes against annual GMV through a demo. Northbeam is reported from about $1,500 a month and is openly aimed at advertisers spending roughly $125,000 a month or more.

For most brands under about $5M in revenue, that is a lot of money for attribution modeling you cannot audit. The cheaper path is a blended view: total spend against total revenue, reconciled to your store and your payment processor, which is what MixedMetrics does from $79 a month. It is attribution-lite rather than multi-touch, and we say so on the Triple Whale alternative and Northbeam alternative pages. If you want the full picture of what those platforms measure, the guide to incrementality testing covers what attribution tools can and cannot prove.

Which marketing reporting tools have a free plan?

Four in this table: Looker Studio (free to use, with Pro at about $9 per user per month), Databox (free for three data sources), Improvado (Free Limited at $0 with 50 MCP actions a week), and Triple Whale (the free Founders Dash). Klipfolio, Supermetrics, Whatagraph, AgencyAnalytics, DashThis, and Funnel.io have trials rather than free plans, typically 7 to 14 days.

A free tier is only cheap if it stays free. The usual trap is Looker Studio: the tool itself costs nothing, but Meta Ads, TikTok, and most non-Google sources need a paid third-party connector, and those run anywhere from $20 to $350 a month. A free dashboard sitting on $200 a month of connectors is a $200 a month dashboard. The Looker Studio alternative page works through that math.

How do I compare marketing reporting software pricing fairly?

Price the twelve-month bill for your actual shape, not the entry tier. Write down your client count, connected data sources, dashboards, users, and annual GMV, then run each vendor's model against those five numbers and add the mandatory extras. Check the billing period as well: most of the numbers above are annual-commitment rates, and paying monthly is usually 20 to 25 percent more.

Then check what you are not buying. A cheap pipeline still needs someone to build and maintain the report. A cheap dashboard builder still needs someone to model blended ROAS and CAC by hand. That build time is a real cost that never shows up on a pricing page, and it is the reason a $120 a month builder can be more expensive than a $79 a month tool that arrives with the marketing math already done. Our walkthrough of how to build a marketing dashboard gives a sense of the work involved either way.

Do marketing reporting vendors still publish their prices?

Less than they used to, and the direction of travel is worth noticing. In the last twelve months AgencyAnalytics collapsed three published tiers into a single $20 per client plan, Polar Analytics removed its public price list in favor of GMV-based quotes, and Whatagraph now shows only one published tier plus a custom one. Cometly and Northbeam were already quote-only.

Improvado moved the other way and is the interesting exception: it now publishes a $0 Free Limited tier and a $100 a month MCP Only plan aimed at AI agent access, while keeping Advanced and Enterprise on quotes. If a vendor will not show a number, treat the sales call as part of the cost and get the twelve-month figure in writing before you commit.

Good questions

Questions about marketing reporting software pricing

Most teams pay between $50 and $300 a month. Small agencies run on $44 to $120 with DashThis, Swydo, Databox, or MixedMetrics. Mid-sized agencies pay per client, around $400 a month for 20 clients on AgencyAnalytics. Enterprise pipelines start from about EUR 280 a month and DTC attribution tools from $1,500 a month.
Looker Studio, Databox, Improvado, and Triple Whale all have a $0 tier, though each is capped. Among paid tools with predictable published pricing, DashThis at $44 a month and MixedMetrics from $79 a month are the cheapest options to forecast.
Because vendors charge for different units. One bills per client, another per dashboard, another per data source, another per million rows, and several against your annual store revenue. Two plans with the same sticker price can cost the same team very different amounts once you multiply by your real numbers.
Usually yes, by roughly 20 to 25 percent. AgencyAnalytics is $20 per client per month annually versus $25 monthly, Supermetrics is $44 versus $55, and Triple Whale gives two months free on annual plans. Most published prices you see quoted are the annual-commitment rate.
From $79 per month, with 5, 15 or unlimited connected sources and seats included by tier. Nothing scales with clients, dashboards, data sources, or your GMV, so the number you pay in month one is the number you pay in month twelve.
