AgencyAnalytics vs Raven Tools: pricing, features and real cost per client compared
Most comparisons of these two tools are written by a third vendor who wants you to pick neither, and almost all of them quote AgencyAnalytics pricing that no longer exists. The old Freelancer, Agency and Enterprise ladder starting at $79 a month is gone. AgencyAnalytics now publishes one plan at $20 per client per month billed annually, with every feature unlocked.

That single change flips the usual conclusion. When AgencyAnalytics started at $79 for five clients, the two tools looked close at the bottom of the market. Priced per client, AgencyAnalytics scales linearly forever while Raven Tools stays flat, so by 25 clients the gap is roughly 3.6x on list price.
The catch is that Raven's cheap tiers are metered on seats as well as domains, and the seat caps bite first for most agencies. This page works through the real cost at six agency sizes, the feature-by-feature split, and where each tool is genuinely the better buy. Every price was read off raventools.com/pricing and agencyanalytics.com/pricing in August 2026.
The short answer
AgencyAnalytics and Raven Tools solve different problems and price on opposite models. AgencyAnalytics charges $20 per client per month billed annually on a single plan with unlimited staff users, unlimited data sources and 85+ integrations, and it is built for multi-channel client reporting. Raven Tools charges flat tiers from $39 to $399 a month billed annually ($49 to $479 monthly), metered by domains and by user seats, and it is an SEO toolkit (backlinks, rank tracking, site audits) with client reporting attached. On list price Raven is far cheaper past about 5 clients, but its seat caps of 2, 4, 8, 20 and 40 users usually push an agency up a tier before its client count does, and full white labeling only starts on the $139 Grow plan. Prices here were read off both vendor pricing pages in August 2026.

Why it works
What you get with agencyanalytics vs raven tools
Priced per client vs priced flat
AgencyAnalytics bills $20 per client per month. Raven Tools bills a flat tier by domains and seats. The crossover point decides which is cheaper for you.
Reporting tool vs SEO toolkit
AgencyAnalytics is a multi-channel client reporting platform with 85+ integrations. Raven is an SEO suite with backlink, rank and audit data, and reporting on top.
Neither one blends your paid spend
Both report channels side by side. Neither computes blended ROAS, CAC or MER against the revenue your store and billing actually recorded. That is the gap we fill.

In depth
Choosing between them, and the question both leave open
Which is better, AgencyAnalytics or Raven Tools?
For client-facing multi-channel reporting, AgencyAnalytics is the stronger product. It carries 85+ integrations, unlimited staff and client users, a genuine client portal, full white labeling on the base plan and a report builder designed around presenting results to a non-technical client. If the deliverable your agency sells is a monthly report across paid, social, SEO and email, that is what it was built to produce.
For SEO work itself, Raven Tools is the stronger product and it is not close. Backlink data through Majestic, link monitoring at 25,000 to 150,000 stored links by tier, site audits crawling 50,000 to 7 million pages a month, and rank tracking from 1,500 to 30,000 keywords are all included in the base subscription. On AgencyAnalytics, rank tracking alone is a $41.67 per month add-on per 500 keywords, which reaches Raven Small Biz territory at around 1,500 keywords tracked.
So the honest answer is that they are not really substitutes, which is why plenty of agencies pay for both. The comparison only becomes a straight either-or if your agency is SEO-only, in which case Raven does the work and the reporting, or multi-channel, in which case AgencyAnalytics reports on everything and Raven cannot.
Is Raven Tools cheaper than AgencyAnalytics?
On list price, yes, and the gap widens with every client you add. AgencyAnalytics charges $20 per client per month billed annually with no volume break published below the Enterprise threshold, so 25 clients is $500 a month and 50 clients is $1,000. Raven Tools charges a flat tier, so the same 50 clients can sit on Thrive at $249 a month if 160 campaigns and 20 user seats are enough.
The two places that math goes wrong are seats and campaigns. Raven meters user seats at 2, 4, 8, 20 and 40, and for most agencies the staff headcount hits the cap before the client count does. A 10-client agency with 8 people cannot use the $79 Start plan at all, because Start allows 4 users. Raven also counts domains and campaigns rather than clients, so a client with a main site plus two microsites consumes three of your allowance.
The second correction is scope. Raven is $139 for 80 domains, but it reports on 25+ sources against AgencyAnalytics 85+. If a chunk of your clients need Meta, TikTok, Klaviyo, Shopify or call tracking in their reports, the cheaper subscription is cheaper because it is not doing the same job. Compare like for like before treating the difference as a saving. Our agency reporting software pricing page runs the same cost-per-client math across seven tools.
How much does AgencyAnalytics cost in 2026?
$20 USD per client per month billed annually, on a single plan with everything unlocked: automated client reporting, white-label branding, the client portal, goals, alerts and anomaly detection, API access, unlimited staff and client users, AI insights, 85+ integrations, benchmarks and forecasting, MCP access for ChatGPT and Claude, custom domain and email, and email and chat support. Annual billing is advertised as saving 20% against monthly.
Two paid add-ons sit outside that: an AI Tracker at $20.83 per month per 250 credits, which monitors brand visibility, sentiment, position and citations across ChatGPT, Google AI Overview, Google AI Mode and Claude, and a Rank Tracker at $41.67 per month per 500 keywords for weekly desktop and mobile rankings on Google and Bing. Database connectors are also listed as an add-on rather than included. Agencies managing 25 or more clients are directed to Enterprise for volume discounts, priority support and dedicated training.
Worth flagging because it trips people up: nearly every third-party comparison page still lists the retired Freelancer, Agency and Enterprise plans starting at $79 a month for 5 clients. Those tiers no longer appear on the vendor pricing page. If a comparison quotes $79 as the AgencyAnalytics entry price, it has not been refreshed. We keep a full breakdown in AgencyAnalytics pricing.
How much does Raven Tools cost?
Five tiers, billed monthly or yearly prepaid at up to a 30% reduction. Small Biz is $39 a month prepaid yearly ($468 up front) or $49 monthly, for 2 campaigns, 2 users and 1,500 position checks. Start is $79 prepaid yearly ($948) or $109 monthly, for 20 campaigns, 4 users and 15,000 position checks. Grow is $139 prepaid yearly ($1,668) or $199 monthly, for 80 campaigns, 8 users and 20,000 position checks.
Thrive is $249 prepaid yearly ($2,988) or $299 monthly, for 160 campaigns, 20 users and 25,000 position checks. Lead is $399 prepaid yearly ($4,788) or $479 monthly, for 320 campaigns, 40 users and 30,000 position checks. Above that, Raven asks you to contact them for enterprise pricing on more users, domains, keywords, crawls or backlinks.
All plans include the 45-tool suite, unlimited automated client reports and data from 25+ sources. The detail that changes the buying decision is white labeling: Small Biz and Start get subdomain, email and report branding only, and full white labeling starts at Grow. An agency that needs reports to look entirely its own is choosing between $139 a month on Raven and $20 per client on AgencyAnalytics, which means Raven wins that specific comparison from 7 clients upward.
- Small Biz: $39 yearly prepaid, $49 monthly. 2 campaigns, 2 users, 1,500 position checks
- Start: $79 yearly prepaid, $109 monthly. 20 campaigns, 4 users, 15,000 position checks
- Grow: $139 yearly prepaid, $199 monthly. 80 campaigns, 8 users, 20,000 position checks, full white label
- Thrive: $249 yearly prepaid, $299 monthly. 160 campaigns, 20 users, 25,000 position checks
- Lead: $399 yearly prepaid, $479 monthly. 320 campaigns, 40 users, 30,000 position checks
Does either tool show blended ROAS across ad platforms?
No, and this is the gap that sends agencies looking for a third tool. Both platforms are excellent at putting each channel next to the others in a report: Google Ads in one widget, Meta in another, organic in a third, each showing the numbers that channel reports about itself. What neither does is reconcile those numbers against the revenue your client actually banked.
That matters because the channel figures overlap. Google Ads books a conversion up to 30 days after a click, and to the date of the click rather than the sale. Meta offers 1, 7 and 28-day click windows and a single 1-day view window since it removed the 7-day and 28-day view windows in January 2026. TikTok claims on 1 or 7 days only. Stack those three side by side in a client report and the sum of claimed revenue routinely exceeds what the store actually took, which is the moment a client asks a question you cannot answer from the report. We unpack all six causes in why ad platform revenue numbers do not match.
MixedMetrics computes blended ROAS, blended CAC and MER from total spend against the revenue Shopify and Stripe recorded, so there is one figure that survives that question. It is a flat $79 a month regardless of client count, and it is deliberately not a white-label client reporting platform, so plenty of agencies run it alongside one of these two rather than instead of them. The full method is on blended ROAS.
Which one should an SEO agency pick?
If SEO is the service you sell and reporting is the by-product, Raven Tools is usually the better single purchase. You get the audit, rank tracking, backlink and keyword research work done inside the same subscription that produces the client report, and the flat tier means adding clients does not add cost until you cross a domain or seat cap. Buying AgencyAnalytics plus its Rank Tracker add-on gets you a better report and a weaker toolkit for more money.
If you sell paid media, social and email alongside SEO, the calculus reverses. Raven reports on 25+ sources and its reporting was not designed around multi-channel campaigns, so you will end up exporting from Meta and Klaviyo by hand or buying a second tool anyway. AgencyAnalytics at $20 per client covers all of it in one report, and for a 6-client shop that is $120 a month.
For the agencies sitting between the two, the practical split most often lands as Raven for the SEO work, AgencyAnalytics or a similar platform for the client-facing deliverable, and something separate for the blended paid numbers. If you want to see how the wider field prices, AgencyAnalytics alternatives and Raven Tools alternatives cover the rest of the market, and marketing analytics for agencies covers the blended-reporting layer.
