Databox costs $0 on the free plan, then $71 a month for Analyst, $199 for Team Core, $319 for Team Scale and from $79 for Agency, all billed annually. Monthly billing is higher: $249 and $399 for the two Team plans and $99 for Agency. The price is set by how many data sources you connect and how many people share the account, not by seats alone.
That makes the sticker price a poor guide. A solo marketer pays nothing, an agency with a dozen clients pays under $120, and an in-house team of six pays $319 because the cheaper Team plan stops at three users. Every figure below was read off databox.com/pricing in October 2026, including the monthly prices that only show when you flip the billing toggle.
Databox pricing plan by plan
Databox sells five plans. Four are self-serve and one, Custom, is quoted. Here is what each includes.
| Plan | Billed annually | Billed monthly | Users | Data sources | AI credits a month |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | $0 | 1 | 3 | 50 |
| Analyst | $71 | Not shown | 1 | 5 | 150 |
| Team Core | $199 | $249 | 3 | 10 | 500 |
| Team Scale | $319 | $399 | 10 | 30 | 1,000 |
| Agency | From $79 | From $99 | Unlimited | 20, then packs | 300 |
| Custom | Quoted | More than Team | More than Team | Flexible | |
Free is limited to one dashboard, 10 custom metrics and daily sync. Analyst opens unlimited dashboards and reports, hourly sync, custom data integrations, API access and the MCP server. The Team plans add custom skills, the AI assistant inside Slack, routines and sharing and notifications. Agency adds bulk actions, custom templates and cross-account reporting for people who run many client accounts. All paid plans include chat and email support, and any of them can be trialed for 14 days.
What counts as a data source in Databox?
A data source is a specific dataset, account, property or view you use in Databox. A connection is only the login that brings data in, and one connection can hold several sources. A Google Analytics connection with three website properties uses three data sources, and so does a Meta connection with three ad accounts.
That definition is where budgets slip. A marketing team running Google Ads, Meta, GA4, Shopify and a CRM for one brand sits near five sources. The same stack across four brands is twenty, which is past Team Core and inside Team Scale at 30. Count your accounts before you pick a plan, not your tools.
Does Databox charge per user?
No, but it caps them. Free and Analyst are single-user plans. Team Core includes 3 users and Team Scale 10, and only Agency is unlimited. So the practical effect resembles per-seat pricing: the fourth person who needs a login pushes a Team Core account to Team Scale, a $120 a month jump on annual billing.
Viewers are a different matter, because dashboards can be shared by link, embed or scheduled snapshot. A leadership team that only reads a weekly summary does not need a seat. For a comparison with a tool that never limits users, our Databox vs Klipfolio pricing page prices both ladders for the same four buyers.
How much does the Databox Agency plan cost?
Agency starts at $79 a month billed annually, or $99 billed monthly, with unlimited users, 20 data sources and 300 AI credits. Capacity grows through account packs, each adding one account and 5 data sources for $20 a month annually or $25 monthly.
A worked example. An agency with 15 clients and two sources each needs 30 sources. That is the included 20 plus two packs, so $79 plus $40, about $119 a month on annual billing. The same agency on monthly billing pays about $149. White-label branding, so clients see the agency logo and domain, is a separate add-on and is not in those figures, so price it before you sign.
If your agency is growing faster than your onboarding, the step before the first dashboard is often the bottleneck. Running the first call and the questionnaire through software that can automate discovery calls and client intake frees the time that dashboards then take.
Where Databox pricing gets expensive
Three places. The first is the source cap: every plan below Agency has a fixed number, and adding one more means a higher tier. The second is the user cap on the Team plans. The third is AI credits, which pay for the assistant, generated insights and the MCP server. Credits are allowance-based, and a top-up is a paid add-on.
Add-ons also sit outside the plan price. White-label branding, advanced security controls such as enforced single sign-on, a fiscal calendar and 15-minute sync on selected sources are each priced separately on the pricing page. If any of them is a requirement, add it to the plan before you compare against another tool.
Databox vs the alternatives on price
On entry price Databox is hard to beat, since it has a free plan. Its closest rival on dashboards, Klipfolio, starts at $120 a month for 3 dashboards and never charges per user, which makes it cheaper than Team Scale for a big team on a few dashboards. Our Klipfolio alternative page covers that tool in detail, and the Databox alternative page sets it against the wider field.
Pipeline tools such as Coupler.io are priced differently again, by connected accounts and destinations, and they feed a spreadsheet or warehouse instead of giving you a dashboard. We priced one head to head in Coupler.io vs Databox pricing.
When a blended dashboard is the cheaper answer
A lot of people looking up Databox pricing want one answer at the end of it: across every channel, is the money coming back? Databox charts the figures each ad platform reports about itself, and Google Ads and Meta both claim the same orders. A board that adds them up overstates revenue, often by 20 to 40 percent. The figure you can set a budget on is total spend against the revenue your store or billing system recorded, which is blended ROAS, with blended CAC, MER and LTV:CAC from the same inputs. In Databox you build that formula yourself.
MixedMetrics computes it. It connects read-only to Google Ads, Meta, TikTok, GA4, Shopify, Stripe and Klaviyo or HubSpot and keeps the blended numbers live on one board. Starter is $79 a month or $39 billed yearly for 5 sources. Growth is $199 or $99 yearly for 15 sources and adds the AI layer that points to where budget is leaking. Scale is $449 or $224 yearly with unlimited sources and client workspaces. Every plan is bought by card without a sales call.
The limits are worth saying plainly. MixedMetrics has no warehouse or spreadsheet export, attribution is lite rather than multi-touch, and there are no Amazon, Microsoft Ads or LinkedIn Ads connectors. If you need custom KPIs from a CRM or a help desk, or goals and scorecards for the whole company, Databox is the better fit. If you need one reconciled number for next month's budget, start with the board.
