Coupler.io costs less: $24, $99 or $199 a month billed annually, metered on connected accounts, and it can drop marketing data straight into Google Sheets, Excel, a BI tool or a warehouse. Hevo Data starts at $265 a month billed annually for 5 million events and is built to load a data warehouse, metered on every row it writes. They look like rivals on a shortlist, but they are priced for different buyers.

If you are a marketing lead, an analyst or an agency owner who needs Google Ads, Meta, GA4 and Shopify data in one place this month, the useful question is which meter your setup will run into. Every price below was read off coupler.io/pricing and hevodata.com/pricing in October 2026, including the monthly prices that only show when you change the billing toggle and the event tiers behind Hevo's slider.

The table puts both price ladders and our own board on the same lines. MixedMetrics is in the last column because some teams shopping for a pipeline only need the finished numbers, and that is a cheaper purchase.

How much does Hevo Data cost?

Hevo sells four plans, and the two paid self-serve plans are priced on a slider of monthly events. Annual billing saves about 12 percent. Here are the published stops.

Free gives you 1 million events, up to 5 users, hourly scheduling and a selected list of 50 plus connectors, so check that your ad platforms are on it before you plan around it. Starter opens the full catalog of 170 plus connectors, raises users to 10, and adds dbt integration, SSH and SSL, and 24x7 email and live chat support. Professional adds unlimited users, the Hevo API for automating pipelines, reverse SSH, add-ons and streaming pipelines. Business Critical adds role-based access control, single sign-on, multiple workspaces and VPC peering. Every tier is SOC 2 Type II.

Two lines on the page matter more than the headline price. Hevo bills usage above your quota on demand, on top of the plan, so a month with a large backfill can cost more than the slider suggests. And plan changes go through Hevo's team rather than a self-serve switch. There is a 14-day free trial with no credit card.

How much does Coupler.io cost?

Coupler.io prices four self-serve plans and a quoted Custom plan, and annual billing saves 25 percent. Free covers 1 account, 1 user, 1 source and 1 destination with manual refresh. Starter is $24 a month billed annually or $32 monthly for 3 accounts, 1 destination, 1 user, daily refresh and 5,000 rows per run. Active is $99 or $132 for 15 accounts, 3 destinations, unlimited users and unlimited data volume, with transformations. Pro is $199 or $259 for 50 accounts, unlimited destinations, hourly refresh, team and client workspaces and automations. Custom adds 15-minute refresh, SSO and audit logs.

All 400 plus sources are available on every plan, and extra accounts cost $4.49 a month billed annually or $5.99 monthly. For the full ladder and where its limits bite, see our Coupler.io pricing breakdown. If your shortlist also includes a spreadsheet add-on, we priced Coupler.io vs Coefficient the same way.

What a Hevo event is and how many a marketing team uses

Hevo counts each record inserted, updated or deleted in the destination as one event. For marketing data the update part is what catches people out. Ad platforms keep revising conversions for days after a click, so a sensible pipeline re-loads a trailing window, often the last 7 to 30 days, every day. Each re-loaded row counts again.

Some rough arithmetic, so you can size it yourself. An account with 200 active ads reporting one row per ad per day writes about 6,000 rows a month. Re-loading a 30-day window every day rewrites up to 30 times that, around 180,000 events. Ten such accounts across Google and Meta land near 1.8 million, already past the Free quota and well inside Starter at 5 million. Add GA4 at landing-page and source level, Shopify orders and a one-time historical backfill, and a busy month can reach the next tier. Ask Hevo for an estimate on your real sources before you sign an annual plan.

Not every source has an API either. Some affiliate networks and smaller ad partners only send a daily report by email, and neither tool reads an inbox. A tool that can parse emailed reports into CSV fills that gap, and either pipeline can then pick the file up.

Do you need a data warehouse for Hevo Data?

Yes, plan on one. Hevo is an ELT pipeline: it loads data into a destination such as Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, Databricks or PostgreSQL, and you query it there or point a BI tool at it. That means a second bill for the warehouse itself and someone who can write SQL or dbt models. For a data team that already runs a warehouse, Hevo's event pricing and streaming pipelines on Professional are reasonable. For a marketing team without one, the warehouse is the real cost, not the $265.

Coupler.io does not assume a warehouse. It can send a Google Ads and Meta report straight into a Google Sheet or a Data Studio dashboard, and it treats BigQuery, Snowflake, PostgreSQL and Redshift as ordinary destinations when you do have one. If you are weighing it against a warehouse-first analyst tool instead, our Coupler.io vs OWOX pricing page covers that pairing.

Which is cheaper for a marketing agency?

Coupler.io, for almost every agency that reports in Sheets or Data Studio. Pro at $199 a month billed annually covers 50 connected client accounts, unlimited users and client workspaces, and each extra account is $4.49. Forty clients with Google Ads and Meta each is 80 accounts, which works out to about $334 a month on Pro with 30 extra accounts.

Hevo fits an agency that sells data engineering, runs a warehouse per client or centrally, and wants dbt models and API-driven pipelines. Professional at $750 a month billed annually for 20 million events is the realistic starting point there, because Starter caps users at 10. Budget the warehouse and the engineer's time on top.

When a blended dashboard is the cheaper answer

A lot of teams shopping for a pipeline want one answer at the end of it: across every channel, is the money coming back? Both Coupler.io and Hevo move the figures each ad platform reports about itself, and Google Ads and Meta both claim the same orders. Adding those up in a sheet or a warehouse overstates revenue, often by 20 to 40 percent. The figure you can set a budget on is total spend against the revenue your store or billing system recorded, which is blended ROAS, with blended CAC, MER and LTV:CAC from the same inputs.

MixedMetrics does that job without a pipeline. It connects read-only to Google Ads, Meta, TikTok, GA4, Shopify, Stripe and Klaviyo or HubSpot and keeps the blended numbers live on one board. Starter is $79 a month or $39 billed yearly for 5 sources. Growth is $199 or $99 yearly for 15 sources and adds the AI layer that points to where budget is leaking. Scale is $449 or $224 yearly with unlimited sources and client workspaces. Every plan is bought by card without a sales call.

The limits are worth saying plainly. MixedMetrics has no warehouse or spreadsheet export, attribution is lite rather than multi-touch, and there are no Amazon, Microsoft Ads or LinkedIn Ads connectors. If you need raw rows in BigQuery for other teams, you still need a pipeline. If you need one reconciled number for next month's budget, start with the board and add a pipeline when a specific question needs one.

Coupler.io vs Hevo Data FAQ

How much does Hevo Data cost?

Hevo Data has a free plan with 1 million events a month. Starter costs $265 a month billed annually for 5 million events, $440 for 20 million and $835 for 50 million. Professional costs $750 for 20 million, $1,320 for 50 million and $1,935 for 100 million. Monthly billing is about 12 percent higher, and Business Critical is quoted.

Is Coupler.io cheaper than Hevo Data?

Yes at every published paid tier. Coupler.io costs $24, $99 or $199 a month billed annually, while the cheapest paid Hevo plan is $265 a month billed annually. The two meter different things, though: Coupler.io meters connected accounts, Hevo meters the rows it writes to your warehouse.

What counts as an event in Hevo?

Hevo counts each record inserted, updated or deleted in your destination as one event. Re-loading a date range to pick up late conversions rewrites rows, and each rewrite counts again. Usage above your plan quota is billed on demand on top of the plan.

Does Hevo Data load into Google Sheets?

Hevo is built to load data into a warehouse or database, such as Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift or PostgreSQL, where you then query it or connect a BI tool. If you want marketing data to land in Google Sheets or Excel directly, Coupler.io does that on every plan.

Does Hevo Data have a free trial?

Yes. Hevo offers a 14-day free trial with 24x7 support and no credit card, and it also has a permanent free plan with 1 million events a month, up to 5 users, hourly scheduling and a limited set of connectors. Coupler.io offers a 7-day full-access trial and a free plan.
