TapClicks pricing

TapClicks pricing: plans, tiers, cost per month, and what a TapClicks quote covers

TapClicks is one of the oldest agency reporting platforms still standing, it owns Raven Tools, and it sells to agencies, franchises and media companies that run hundreds of client accounts. It also has one of the least informative pricing pages in the category. The page invites you to choose, compare and conquer, prints a long feature matrix across four bundles, and then asks you to schedule an appointment for a number.

What's working
Where money leaks

Figures are illustrative. Your own stack connects read-only.

That makes most of what is written about TapClicks pricing a mix of stale screenshots and directory guesses. This page separates the three cleanly: what the vendor page actually says in September 2026, what the earlier configurator charged when it was live, and what the review directories claim. It then puts TapClicks beside the agency reporting tools that do print a price, including the one TapClicks itself owns.

If you are here because you have a quote in hand and want to know whether it is reasonable, skip to the comparison table. If you are here because you cannot get a number without a call, the tables tell you what the four tiers include so you know which one to ask about.

The short answer

TapClicks does not publish prices. Its pricing page, read in September 2026, lists four bundles (SmartStory, SmartReports, SmartAnalytics and SmartSuite), a feature matrix, a startup bundle with 10 clients included on every tier, and a button to schedule an appointment. Every number you will find elsewhere is either a directory estimate (Capterra lists a starting price of $599 a month) or a reading of the earlier Build My Plan configurator, which priced data packages at $99, $349 and $649 a month and destination packages at $199, $899 and $1,399, before a quote. None of those figures appear on the vendor page today. The practical rule: budget for a sales conversation, expect the total to combine a data tier and a reporting tier, and note that the full 250+ connector library, scheduled reports and the white-label report studio all start on the second bundle, not the first.

Why it works

What you get with TapClicks pricing

01

No price on the page

The September 2026 pricing page lists SmartStory, SmartReports, SmartAnalytics and SmartSuite with a feature matrix and no dollar figure on any of them. The only path to a number is the schedule-an-appointment button. That is the first fact to plan around.

02

Two layers in every quote

A TapClicks bill has always combined a data layer (TapData, the connector package) with a destination layer (reports, dashboards, AI). The retired configurator priced them separately, $99 to $649 for data and $199 to $1,399 for the destination, and the current bundles fold both into one tier.

03

The good stuff starts on tier two

SmartStory, the entry bundle, gets TapData Lite (a basic connector package), pre-defined blends and basic branding. The complete 250+ connector library, scheduled report automation, the pixel-perfect Report Studio and the client mobile app all begin on SmartReports. Unlimited dashboards, users and accounts begin on SmartAnalytics.

In depth

TapClicks pricing, worked through the way an agency has to budget for it

How much does TapClicks cost?

There is no published answer. The TapClicks pricing page in September 2026 lists four bundles, SmartStory, SmartReports, SmartAnalytics and SmartSuite, with a feature matrix and no price beside any of them. The page says that if you are looking for specific pricing based on your business you should schedule an appointment. That is the whole of what the vendor publishes.

The figures that circulate come from two places. The earlier Build My Plan configurator let you pick a data package (TapData Lite, TapData+ or TapData Max, listed at $99, $349 and $649 a month) and a destination package (TapReports, TapAnalytics or TapInsights at $199, $899 and $1,399), then sent you to Submit For Quote. Adding the two most common picks gave a ballpark of roughly $1,748 a month before the quote. Review directories, separately, list a starting price around $599 a month. None of those numbers are on the vendor page today, and a quote can land above or below them depending on client count, data volume and support.

If you need a planning number before the call, the honest range from those sources is several hundred dollars a month at the bottom to well over $1,500 a month once you want interactive dashboards and AI agents. Anyone quoting you a precise figure without a TapClicks proposal in hand is reading an old screenshot.

What are the TapClicks plans?

Four bundles, each a superset of the one before. SmartStory is the entry tier: automated data warehousing, basic calculations, pre-defined omnichannel blends, SmartConnector Basic for Google Sheets and manual uploads, basic branding, SmartSlides PowerPoint reports with AI insights, and TapData Lite, described as a basic package of the most popular connectors.

SmartReports adds the pieces most agencies would call the product: the complete TapData package of 250+ connectors, scheduled report automation, the pixel-perfect Report Studio, SmartConnector Plus for host files and databases, the client-facing MyMarketingPortal mobile app, the TapReports agency app, SmartEmail AI-insight emails and bulk import and export for scale management.

SmartAnalytics adds user-defined data blends, custom calculations, unlimited dashboards, users, accounts and connections, configurable event alerts, data lookups across tables, SmartCampaigns rollups, margin and markup automation, goals and pacing with predictive analytics, and Ask Your Dashboard, an LLM-style chat over your data. SmartSuite, the top bundle, adds AI insight agents for analysis and reporting, persona agents for CMO, marketing ops and sales views, build-your-own agents, benchmarking widgets against industry cohorts, a leads and attribution manager, and included setup and services.

Does TapClicks have a free trial or a free plan?

Neither is offered on the pricing page. There is no self-serve signup, no free tier and no trial button; the calls to action are Book A Demo and Schedule an appointment. That is consistent with how TapClicks sells: through a sales conversation to agencies, franchises and media companies with many client accounts.

If your evaluation needs to start with a login rather than a demo, this is the point where the shortlist splits. Every tool in the comparison table above except TapClicks and NinjaCat lets you start at a published price, and several of them let you start free.

What does a TapClicks quote depend on?

Three things, based on how the product is structured. First, the bundle tier, which sets the feature ceiling. Second, client count: every bundle includes a startup allowance of 10 clients at no extra charge, and the configurator-era starting prices were explicitly for up to 10 clients, so an agency with 40 clients should expect the number to scale. Third, data: TapData volume, extra connectors, API access and SmartConnector Plus sources all sat in the data layer of the old configurator and are the usual reasons a quote grows after the first proposal.

Ask for the quote itemized on those three axes. A single bundled monthly figure hides which lever moves the bill when you add your eleventh client or your fourth ad platform, and that is the number you will care about in month seven.

TapClicks vs Raven Tools: why the cheaper option is the same company

TapClicks acquired Raven Tools in April 2017 and still runs it as a separate product. Raven publishes its whole ladder: five plans from $39 to $399 a month billed annually ($49 to $479 monthly), metered on domains and user seats, with full white labeling from the $139 Grow plan. It is SEO-first, with only three ad integrations (Google, Bing and Facebook), which is what ends most paid-media evaluations.

For an agency that mostly needs SEO reporting with client branding, Raven is the version of TapClicks you can buy from a web page. For a paid-media agency that needs 250+ connectors, data blending and margin automation, Raven will not do and the TapClicks quote is the relevant number. The full Raven ladder, seat caps and cost per client are on Raven Tools pricing, and nine tools agencies shortlist against it are compared on Raven Tools competitors.

How does TapClicks compare with agency reporting tools that publish prices?

The comparison table above does it tool by tool. The short version: AgencyAnalytics is $20 per client a month on annual billing with every feature included, so 10 clients is $200 and 50 clients is $1,000. DashThis runs $44 to $429 a month metered on dashboards and sources together. Swydo is $62 a month with the first 10 data sources included and $4.50 for each source after that. Oviond meters clients only, $49 to $395. Whatagraph starts at $812 a month for 50 source credits. Raven is $39 to $399. Every one of those numbers came off the vendor pricing page.

What TapClicks offers that most of those do not is depth for very large books of business: 250+ connectors, host-file and database ingestion, margin and markup automation per client, and, on the top bundle, AI agents and benchmarking. If you run 200 franchise locations or a media company with hundreds of advertisers, that is the category you are shopping in and a quote is normal. If you run 15 clients on Google, Meta and GA4, you are paying for scale you will not use, and the published-price tools cover the job. The wider field, including what each tool meters, is on agency reporting software.

TapClicks also markets itself against Domo, Funnel, Adverity, Datorama, DashThis, Looker Studio, AgencyAnalytics and NinjaCat on its own compare page, and lists pricing transparency as one of its differentiators. Against Domo and NinjaCat that is a fair point, since neither publishes a price either. Against DashThis and AgencyAnalytics it is not, because both print theirs. Our own Domo alternative comparison covers the Domo side of that.

TapClicks or a flat-price blended dashboard: which are you actually buying?

TapClicks is client reporting infrastructure for agencies and multi-location brands: many accounts, branded deliverables, margin rules, mobile apps for end clients. If the job is producing hundreds of white-labeled reports a month, that is the right category and the sales call is the price of entry.

MixedMetrics is a different shape. It is a finished blended dashboard for one business or one agency book: connect your ad platforms, store and payments read-only and get blended ROAS, blended CAC, MER, LTV and LTV:CAC on one live board, with an AI layer on the $199 Growth plan that flags where spend is leaking. It is $79 a month on Starter, $199 on Growth and $449 on Scale, flat, with no per-client meter and no quote, and the price is printed on the page.

It is not a replacement for TapClicks at TapClicks scale and we will not pretend otherwise. There is no white-label client portal, no warehouse export, and no Amazon Ads, Microsoft Ads or LinkedIn Ads connector. What you get instead is the blended numbers on the day you sign up, at a number you can budget from a web page. If that is the comparison you are making, agency reporting software pricing puts the whole category side by side.

Good questions

Questions about TapClicks pricing

TapClicks does not publish a monthly price. Its pricing page in September 2026 lists four bundles with a feature matrix and asks you to schedule an appointment for a number. The earlier Build My Plan configurator listed data packages at $99, $349 and $649 a month and destination packages at $199, $899 and $1,399 before a quote, and Capterra lists a starting price around $599 a month. None of those figures are on the vendor page today.
No. The page publishes the four bundle names (SmartStory, SmartReports, SmartAnalytics, SmartSuite), a 36-row feature matrix and a note that 10 clients are included on every tier. There is no dollar figure, no free tier and no self-serve checkout. TapClicks lists pricing transparency as a differentiator on its compare page, which is accurate against Domo and NinjaCat and not against DashThis or AgencyAnalytics.
SmartStory includes automated data warehousing, basic calculations, pre-defined data blends, SmartConnector Basic (Google Sheets, manual upload and email), basic branding, SmartSlides PowerPoint reports with AI insights and TapData Lite, a basic package of the most popular connectors. It does not include the full 250+ connector library, scheduled report automation, Report Studio or the client mobile app; those begin on SmartReports.
SmartAnalytics and SmartSuite. The feature matrix lists unlimited dashboards, users, accounts and connections from SmartAnalytics up, alongside user-defined data blends, custom calculations, configurable alerts, margin and markup automation and the Ask Your Dashboard chat feature. SmartStory and SmartReports do not carry that line.
Yes. TapClicks acquired Raven Tools in April 2017 and still sells it separately. Raven publishes five plans from $39 to $399 a month billed annually, metered on domains and user seats, and is SEO-first with only Google, Bing and Facebook ad integrations. For an SEO-led agency it is the TapClicks product you can buy without a call.
No free trial or free plan is offered on the pricing page. The calls to action are Book A Demo and Schedule an appointment. If you need to start at a published price, AgencyAnalytics ($20 per client), DashThis ($44), Swydo ($62), Oviond ($49), Raven Tools ($39) and MixedMetrics ($79) all print theirs, and several offer a trial.
For client reporting at 10 to 30 clients, Swydo ($62 a month plus $4.50 per data source past the first 10), DashThis ($44 to $429) and AgencyAnalytics ($20 per client) all publish a price and do branded reports. If what you actually need is one blended view of ad spend against revenue rather than hundreds of client reports, MixedMetrics is $79 a month flat and shows blended ROAS, CAC, MER and LTV:CAC without a quote.
