Short answer: Klipfolio Klips costs $120 a month for Base, $190 for Grow, $310 for Team, and $600 for Team+, in USD on annual billing, for 3, 10, 20, and 40 dashboards. Unlimited users are included on every tier. The number that decides most bills is not the plan price, though: white labeling is a $299 a month add-on, SSO is $63, and a custom domain is $90, so an agency that needs client-facing branded dashboards on a Base plan pays $419 a month, not $120.
Every figure below was read off klipfolio.com/pricing on August 3, 2026. That matters here more than in most categories. Several current roundups still quote a $90 Base plan, which is not the number on Klipfolio's own pricing page today, and others mix annual and monthly rates inside one table without labeling which is which.
How much does Klipfolio cost per month?
| Plan | Annual billing | Stated annual saving | Dashboards | Data refresh | Users |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Base | $120 / mo | $240 / yr | 3 | Every 4 hours | Unlimited |
| Grow | $190 / mo | $360 / yr | 10 | Every hour | Unlimited |
| Team | $310 / mo | $480 / yr | 20 | Every 15 minutes | Unlimited |
| Team+ | $600 / mo | $1,080 / yr | 40 | Up to the minute | Unlimited |
Klipfolio states these as "USD/mo, based on an annual subscription and billed annually" and shows the yearly saving next to each tier rather than printing the monthly rate alongside. Work the saving back into a month and the monthly-billing equivalents come out at $140, $220, $350, and $690. Those are arithmetic on Klipfolio's own published numbers rather than figures printed on the page, so treat them as a close estimate and confirm at checkout if the difference matters to your budget.
All four tiers include the same 130 or more data integrations, data modelling and joins, published links, PDF reports, scheduled reports, the template gallery, and the ability to add your own logo. What actually separates them is dashboard count and refresh frequency. Team and Team+ add SSO and Warm Up Refresh; Team+ adds custom onboarding and priority support.
Does Klipfolio charge per user?
No, and that is genuinely unusual in this bracket. Every Klips tier lists unlimited users, so you can hand dashboards to an entire marketing team, a finance stakeholder, and a set of client contacts without the subscription moving. BI tools priced per seat behave the opposite way: Power BI runs $14.00 or $24.00 per user per month on annual billing, so a 20-person team crosses Klipfolio's Base price well before anyone has built a dashboard.
The meter runs on dashboards and freshness instead. If you publish one board per client or per business unit, your plan tier is effectively a client cap, and it arrives faster than people expect. Ten clients puts you on Grow. Twenty-one puts you on Team+.
How much does Klipfolio white labeling cost?
This is the part that reprices the whole decision, and it is the reason a Klipfolio quote often lands well above the tier a buyer had in mind. White labeling is not included on any plan. It is sold as an add-on stack:
| Add-on | Price (annual billing) | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| White-Label Bundle | $299 / mo | Branding, custom theme, and custom domain together; removes Klipfolio branding from the interface and sign-in screen |
| Custom Domain | $90 / mo | Serve dashboards from your own domain |
| Custom Theme | $69 / mo | Upload custom CSS and JavaScript to restyle the app |
| Extra dashboards | $8 / mo each | Add dashboards without moving up a tier |
| Single Sign-On | $63 / mo | SAML or custom SSO (included on Team and Team+) |
| Priority Support | $63 / mo | Queue priority, business hours 9AM to 5PM EST (included on Team+) |
| Dedicated Server | $699 / mo | Private hosting for heavier formula and data-fetch workloads |
Klipfolio marks all of these as USD per month billed annually and notes that add-on prices may differ on monthly plans. Read the top row again: the White-Label Bundle at $299 costs more than the Base, Grow, and a couple of extra dashboards combined. An agency that wants ten branded client dashboards on its own domain is looking at $190 for Grow plus $299 for the bundle, which is $489 a month, or $5,868 a year, for ten clients. That is $48.90 per client per month.
Compare that with tools that ship branding as standard and the positioning becomes clear: Klipfolio prices white labeling as a premium capability, because Klips was built as a flexible internal dashboard product that agencies adopted, rather than as an agency reporting tool from the start.
What actually drives a Klipfolio bill?
Three things, in this order.
Dashboard count. Because users are free and integrations are uncapped, the only real consumption unit is a published board. Anyone running one board per client or per brand hits a tier wall quickly. At $8 a month, extra dashboards are a cheap release valve, which is worth knowing before you jump from Grow at $190 to Team at $310: eleven extra dashboards on Grow is $88, so $278 total, marginally under the Team price but without the 15 minute refresh or SSO.
Refresh frequency. Four hours on Base is fine for a weekly review and painful for anyone watching a launch. If somebody on your team needs to see spend move during the day, you are on Team or Team+ regardless of dashboard count, and the price roughly triples or quintuples for a reason that has nothing to do with how much data you have.
Add-ons. Covered above. Price the stack, not the tier.
One more line item that never shows on a pricing page: build time. Klips is a formula-driven builder, closer in spirit to a spreadsheet than to a preset report tool. That flexibility is its main selling point, and it means somebody has to design the metrics, write the formulas, and maintain them when a source changes shape. Klipfolio sells onboarding, implementation services, and a "Dedicated Data Hero" program precisely because that curve is real. Budget internal hours or budget services.
Klipfolio pricing compared with AgencyAnalytics, DashThis, and Swydo
Sticker prices in this category are not comparable until you fix a scenario, because each vendor meters a different unit. Here is the same job priced across four tools: ten client dashboards, each pulling roughly three connected accounts, with agency branding on the output. All prices are annual billing and were read off each vendor's own page, Klipfolio, AgencyAnalytics, Swydo, and Whatagraph on August 3, 2026, DashThis in July 2026.
| Tool | What it meters | Cost at 10 branded client dashboards | Branding included? |
|---|---|---|---|
| Klipfolio Klips | Dashboards and refresh rate | $489 / mo (Grow $190 + White-Label Bundle $299) | Logo yes, full white label $299 / mo extra |
| AgencyAnalytics | Clients | $200 / mo ($20 per client) | Yes, white-label branding and client portal included |
| DashThis | Dashboards and connected sources | $139 / mo (Professional, 10 dashboards, 40 sources) | Logo and preset themes, not full white label |
| Swydo | Data sources above the first 10 | About EUR 152 / mo (EUR 62 base + 20 extra sources at EUR 4.50) | Yes, full white labeling included |
On this scenario Klipfolio is the most expensive of the four by a wide margin, and the entire gap is the white-label add-on. Strip branding out of the requirement and Grow at $190 sits in the same neighborhood as the others. That is the honest read: Klipfolio is not overpriced as a dashboard builder, it is expensive as a client-facing agency reporting tool, because that was never its primary design.
The flip side is flexibility. Klipfolio connects to 130 or more services and lets you hit arbitrary APIs directly, then build metrics with spreadsheet-style formulas. If your reporting includes a system nobody else supports, an internal database, a niche vertical platform, a custom endpoint, Klipfolio will reach it while the per-client tools will not. That is worth real money to the right buyer. It is also why a connector that quietly stops returning rows is the most common way one of these dashboards starts lying, and why teams reporting on custom endpoints usually put uptime and API monitoring behind the endpoints they depend on rather than finding out from a client.
Is Klipfolio worth it?
Yes, if you need genuinely custom metrics, you are comfortable with a formula-driven builder, you have data sources outside the standard marketing set, and you want unlimited viewers on a flat price. For an internal analytics team publishing a modest number of high-value boards to a large audience, the per-user math alone justifies it.
Probably not, if you are an agency whose deliverable is a branded client report. The $299 white-label add-on makes you the most expensive option in a category where AgencyAnalytics pricing includes branding and a client portal at $20 per client, and DashThis pricing starts at $44. You would be paying a premium for flexibility you are not using.
Also not, if the question you actually need answered is whether the marketing worked. Klips will draw whatever you ask it to draw, which includes drawing a combined ROAS that overstates reality. Summing platform-reported revenue double counts every customer who touched two channels, and that gap widened in January 2026 when Meta removed the 7-day view and 28-day view attribution windows from its Ads Insights API, leaving 1-day click, 7-day click, 28-day click, 1-day engaged view, and 1-day view. Dashboards built on the removed windows kept rendering and quietly reported less conversion credit. We worked through that in why ad platform numbers do not match.
Does Klipfolio have a free plan or free trial?
Klipfolio offers a free trial of Klips rather than a permanent free tier on the paid plans, and the pricing page routes new accounts through a "Get Started Now" signup instead of publishing trial length in the pricing table. PowerMetrics, the separate metric-centric product, is sold and packaged on its own terms, so do not assume a Klips trial or a Klips price carries across to it.
If you are trialing, spend the time on two things: build one dashboard end to end with your messiest data source, and test the refresh rate you can actually live with. Those two answers determine your tier, and therefore your price, more than any feature checklist.
Where this leaves the decision
Klipfolio prices flexibility. You pay for a builder that will connect to almost anything and compute almost any metric, with free viewers, and you pay separately for the packaging that turns it into a client deliverable. Buyers who need the first and not the second do well here. Buyers who need the second are subsidizing capability they will never open.
If you are cost-comparing across the whole category, our breakdown of marketing reporting software pricing puts 16 vendors in one table on published rates, and agency reporting software pricing normalizes the agency tools to cost per client at 10, 25, and 50 clients. On features rather than price, our Klipfolio alternative comparison covers where each tool wins.
And if the underlying job is not "present the numbers each platform reports" but "tell me what we spent and what we actually earned", that is a different instrument. Total revenue over total spend, computed once across every channel and your store, is what blended ROAS measures, alongside blended CAC and MER. No amount of dashboard flexibility produces that number if the underlying data is still three platforms each claiming the same customer.
