Short answer: Windsor.ai is cheaper and simpler to price, Supermetrics is more reliable and more mature. Windsor.ai charges on one axis, connected data sources, and throws in unlimited users and every destination, starting at $19 a month on annual billing. Supermetrics charges on three axes at once, sources plus destinations plus seats, starting at EUR 39 a month yearly, and earns the premium when a broken sync would cost you a client report. Both are pipelines. Neither one tells you whether your marketing made money.
Every price below was read off each vendor's own pricing page in July 2026. Third-party roundups in this category go stale fast, so if you are budgeting, confirm against the source before you sign.

How much does Windsor.ai cost?
Windsor.ai publishes its whole ladder, which is rarer in this category than it should be. The meter is the number of data sources you connect at once, with a secondary cap on ad accounts.
| Plan | Monthly | Billed annually | What you get |
|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | 30-day trial with 1 user, 10 data sources, 15 accounts, 5 destination tasks, 30 days history. Then forever free at 1 user, 1 source, 1 account | |
| Basic | $23 | $19 | 3 data sources, 75 accounts, 5 destination tasks, unlimited users, daily syncs |
| Standard | $118 | $99 | 7 data sources, 75 accounts, unlimited destination tasks, daily and hourly syncs |
| Plus | $299 | $249 | 10 data sources, 200 accounts |
| Professional | $598 | $499 | 14 data sources, 500 accounts, auto-add accounts, 15-minute syncs |
| Enterprise | Custom quote | Up to 200 data sources and 50,000 accounts, custom connectors, SSO, dedicated account manager | |
The genuinely differentiated part is what is not metered. Every paid plan includes unlimited users, access to all sources, and access to all destinations, so nobody pays a surcharge for a premium connector or an extra seat. Up to 10 years of history is included too.
The number to plan around is the source count, because that is what moves you up the ladder. A fairly ordinary stack of Google Ads, Meta, TikTok, GA4, Search Console, Shopify, and Stripe is already seven sources, which is Standard at $99 a month, not the $19 headline. Add Klaviyo and LinkedIn and you are on Plus at $249.
How much does Supermetrics cost?
Supermetrics publishes four tiers, all in euros, and the caps move together on every one of them.
| Plan | Monthly | Billed yearly | What you get |
|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | EUR 49 | EUR 39 | 1 core destination, 3 data sources, 1 user, 3 accounts per source, weekly refresh, 50,000 API rows / mo |
| Growth | EUR 199 | EUR 159 | 7 data sources, 2 users, 7 accounts per source, daily refresh, 250,000 rows |
| Pro | EUR 499 | EUR 399 | 10 data sources, 3 users, 10 accounts per source, hourly refresh, data transformations, 500,000 rows |
| Enterprise | Custom quote | All data sources, custom user and account limits, on-demand refresh, warehousing, management API | |
There is no free plan, only a 14-day trial, and billing is in euros, so a US team's real cost drifts with the exchange rate. Refresh frequency is also tiered, which catches people out: weekly refresh on Starter means your Monday dashboard is describing last week.
The real cost gap, worked through
List prices flatter Supermetrics because the caps that matter are not on the price tag. Take a three-person growth team running seven data sources, reporting into Looker Studio.
| Requirement | Windsor.ai | Supermetrics |
|---|---|---|
| 7 data sources | Standard | Growth |
| 3 users | Included on any paid plan | Forces an upgrade to Pro (Growth allows 2) |
| Resulting plan | Standard | Pro |
| Cost, billed annually | $99 / mo | EUR 399 / mo |
One extra teammate moves the Supermetrics bill by EUR 240 a month without adding a single data source. That is the structural difference: Windsor.ai grows with your data, Supermetrics grows with your data and your team and your destinations. For small teams the gap is wide. It narrows at enterprise scale, where Supermetrics' warehousing, management API, and account-level controls start doing real work.
Where Supermetrics is genuinely better
Reliability, and it is not a small thing. Supermetrics has been maintaining marketing connectors for over a decade, and ad platforms change their APIs without asking. When Meta deprecates a field or Google Ads shifts a reporting endpoint, the question is how quickly the connector is patched and whether your Monday report survives. Supermetrics has the longer track record there, plus deeper field-level coverage inside each connector, which matters if you report on something more specific than spend and conversions.
It also has the better answer at the top end. Warehousing, a management API, multiple teams, and on-demand refresh are Enterprise features aimed at organizations where marketing data feeds finance. If you are comparing at that level, the tier above both of these is worth a look as well, which is what Supermetrics vs Funnel.io covers.
Where Windsor.ai is genuinely better
Price transparency and pricing shape. Windsor publishes every rung, meters on one thing, and does not punish you for adding people or destinations. For an agency, unlimited users on a $99 plan is a real advantage over per-seat pricing. The raw connector catalogue is larger at roughly 325 sources, and unusually, every plan can reach all of them.
The free tier is also useful in a way trials are not. A forever-free plan with one data source lets you keep a single pipe running indefinitely, which is enough to validate that the data lands the way you expect before committing.
What neither Windsor.ai nor Supermetrics does
Both stop at delivery. They hand you spend rows from each ad platform and revenue rows from your store or billing system, in a destination of your choosing. Deciding what those rows mean is somebody else's job.
That job is less trivial than it sounds. Blended ROAS means summing spend across every ad account and dividing by revenue actually collected, then keeping the calculation correct when a channel is added or an account is renamed. Blended CAC needs the same plus an agreed definition of a new customer. The common failure is not a wrong formula, it is a Looker Studio blend that starts double counting after somebody adds a second Meta ad account, and nobody notices for a quarter because the number still looks plausible. Pipelines fail quietly in the same way: a sync stops delivering rows, the chart keeps rendering, and the only real defence is to monitor freshness and volume on the tables themselves rather than trusting that a green dashboard means green data.
This is the argument for skipping the pipeline entirely if you are not going to query the data. A blended dashboard connects the same accounts read-only and computes blended ROAS, blended CAC, MER, LTV, and LTV:CAC with the definitions already fixed, with no BI tool to license and no model to maintain. The trade is coverage: a focused connector list rather than 325 sources, and no warehouse destination.
Do I need a marketing data pipeline at all?
Ask what you will do on the Monday after setup. If the answer is "write queries against fresh data" or "feed the warehouse finance already uses", buy a pipeline, and buy Windsor.ai if price predictability matters more than connector maturity or Supermetrics if it is the other way round.
If the answer is "look at whether we made money last week", a pipeline solves the easy half and leaves the hard half to you. Google Ads says it drove $40,000, Meta says $30,000, TikTok says $12,000, and Stripe collected $58,000. Getting all four numbers into one table is the part these tools do. Reconciling them into one figure you can act on is the part they do not.
Which should you buy?
Buy Windsor.ai if you have a BI tool or warehouse, a team of more than one or two people, and you want predictable, low, published pricing. Buy Supermetrics if a broken connector on a Monday morning costs you money, or if you need enterprise controls. Buy neither if what you wanted all along was the answer rather than the rows, in which case a marketing dashboard that computes blended metrics natively removes three line items from the stack at once.
