AgencyAnalytics vs DashThis: pricing, features and real cost per client compared

These two get compared constantly and almost every comparison online gets the pricing wrong, because both vendors repriced. AgencyAnalytics retired its old Freelancer and Agency ladder and now publishes one plan at $20 per client per month. DashThis moved to a model that meters dashboards and connected sources together rather than dashboards alone, which changed which tier most agencies land on.

The useful question is not which tool is better in the abstract. It is which one is cheaper at your specific client count, and whether the features you lose on the cheaper one actually matter to your agency. Those two answers point in opposite directions often enough that the comparison is worth doing properly.

This page works through the real monthly cost at seven agency sizes, shows why the DashThis source cap rather than the dashboard cap decides your tier more often than people expect, and lays out the feature split honestly, including the two things DashThis simply does not do. Every price was read off agencyanalytics.com/pricing and dashthis.com/pricing on 31 August 2026.

The short answer

AgencyAnalytics charges $20 per client per month billed annually on a single plan with every feature unlocked, 85+ integrations, unlimited staff and client users, full white labeling and a branded client portal. DashThis charges four flat tiers at $44, $139, $279 and $429 a month billed annually ($54, $164, $324 and $499 monthly), metered by dashboards and connected sources together, with unlimited users and every integration on every plan. Which is cheaper flips twice: DashThis wins at 3 or 4 clients, AgencyAnalytics wins from about 5 to 6, and DashThis wins again from 7 clients upward and never gives the lead back. The feature gap runs the other way. AgencyAnalytics has roughly 85 integrations to DashThis at around 30, plus a client portal and rank tracking that DashThis does not offer at all. Prices here were read off both vendor pricing pages on 31 August 2026.

Why it works

What you get with agencyanalytics vs dashthis

01

Priced per client vs priced per dashboard

AgencyAnalytics bills $20 per client per month and scales linearly forever. DashThis bills a flat tier. The crossover moves twice as you grow, so your client count decides it.

02

Sources, not dashboards, set your DashThis tier

DashThis caps connected sources at 15, 40, 100 and 200 alongside 3, 10, 25 and 50 dashboards. Clients with many channels burn the source cap first.

03

Neither one blends spend against real revenue

Both present channels side by side. Neither computes blended ROAS, CAC or MER against what your store and billing actually recorded. That is the gap we fill.

In depth

The questions agencies actually ask before switching

Which is better, AgencyAnalytics or DashThis?

AgencyAnalytics is the more complete product and DashThis is the simpler one, and for once that is not a polite way of saying the cheap tool is worse. AgencyAnalytics carries roughly 85 integrations against DashThis at around 30, adds a genuine branded client portal, includes full white labeling on its single plan, and sells rank tracking and AI search visibility as add-ons. If your agency sells a multi-channel retainer covering paid, social, SEO, email and ecommerce, more of what you need is already in the box.

DashThis is built around one idea: a dashboard is one marketing report, you set it up once, and it refreshes itself every month. Every integration is available on every plan, users are unlimited, and there is nothing to configure at the account level. Agencies that run the same recurring report for many clients tend to find it faster to live with, and its support has a good reputation.

The split that actually decides it is the client portal. AgencyAnalytics gives clients branded logins to a live view of their own results. DashThis does not offer a portal at all, so clients get a shared URL, a PDF or a scheduled email. If a client-facing login is part of what you sell, that single line settles the comparison regardless of price. We cover the wider field in agency reporting software.

Is DashThis cheaper than AgencyAnalytics?

Usually yes, but not always, and the exceptions are not where people expect. Because AgencyAnalytics charges a flat $20 per client and DashThis charges a flat tier, the cheaper tool flips every time DashThis crosses a tier boundary. At 2 clients AgencyAnalytics is $40 against the $44 DashThis entry plan, so AgencyAnalytics wins. At 3 clients it is $60 against the same $44, so DashThis wins.

Then it flips back. A fifth client needs a fifth dashboard, which pushes DashThis off the 3-dashboard Individual plan and straight onto Professional at $139. AgencyAnalytics at 5 clients is $100, so AgencyAnalytics is cheaper by $39. The crossover inside Professional sits at seven clients, where AgencyAnalytics reaches $140 against DashThis at $139.

From 7 clients up DashThis is cheaper and never gives the lead back, because AgencyAnalytics keeps adding $20 a client while DashThis stays flat until the next cap. By 25 clients it is $279 against $500, and by 50 clients $429 against $1,000. Two caveats keep that honest: AgencyAnalytics points agencies with 25 or more clients to Enterprise for volume discounts, so treat the $500 and $1,000 figures as list price rather than what a negotiating agency pays, and DashThis at $429 is not doing the same job as AgencyAnalytics at $1,000. Our agency reporting software pricing page runs the same math across seven tools.

How much does DashThis cost?

Four tiers, billed monthly or yearly. Individual is $44 a month paid yearly or $54 monthly, for 3 dashboards and 15 sources. Professional is $139 yearly or $164 monthly, for 10 dashboards and 40 sources. Business is $279 yearly or $324 monthly, for 25 dashboards and 100 sources. Standard is $429 yearly or $499 monthly, for 50 dashboards and 200 sources. Above that a slider runs to 1,500 dashboards and 6,000 sources.

The detail worth internalizing is that the sources cap is a second meter, not a footnote. DashThis counts every connected account, so one client running Google Ads, Meta, GA4, Search Console and Klaviyo consumes five sources on its own. Ten of those clients need 50 sources, which passes the 40-source Professional cap and forces Business at $279 even though 10 dashboards would have fitted Professional fine. Agencies routinely price themselves on dashboard count and then get moved up a tier by sources.

Everything else is generous. Users are unlimited on every plan, the full integration catalogue is available on every plan rather than gated by tier, and AI Insights with its four preset analyses is included. The chat-based AI Insights PRO is a paid add-on on all four tiers. The full plan-by-plan breakdown lives in our DashThis pricing guide.

  • Individual: $44 a month yearly, $54 monthly. 3 dashboards, 15 sources
  • Professional: $139 yearly, $164 monthly. 10 dashboards, 40 sources
  • Business: $279 yearly, $324 monthly. 25 dashboards, 100 sources
  • Standard: $429 yearly, $499 monthly. 50 dashboards, 200 sources
  • Unlimited users and the full integration catalogue on every tier

How much does AgencyAnalytics cost in 2026?

$20 USD per client per month billed annually, on one plan with everything unlocked: automated client reporting, white-label branding, the client portal, goals, alerts and anomaly detection, API access, unlimited staff and client users, AI insights, 85+ integrations, benchmarks and forecasting, MCP access for ChatGPT and Claude, custom domain and email, and email and chat support. Annual billing is advertised as saving 20% against monthly.

Two add-ons sit outside the plan. An AI Tracker at $20.83 per month per 250 credits monitors brand visibility, sentiment, position and citations across ChatGPT, Google AI Overview, Google AI Mode and Claude. A Rank Tracker at $41.67 per month per 500 keywords covers weekly desktop and mobile rankings on Google and Bing. Agencies at 25 or more clients are directed to Enterprise for volume discounts, database connectors, priority support and dedicated training. The trial is 14 days with no credit card, and there is a published 30-day money-back guarantee.

The thing to watch for when reading other comparisons is the retired pricing. Plenty of pages still quote the old Freelancer, Agency and Enterprise tiers starting at $79 a month for five clients. Those plans no longer exist on the vendor pricing page. If a comparison anchors on $79 as the entry price, it has not been refreshed since the change. Our full breakdown is in AgencyAnalytics pricing.

Does DashThis have a client portal?

No. DashThis has no client portal and does not claim one. Reports are shared as a live URL, exported to PDF, or delivered on a schedule by email from your own custom sender address, with your logo and a preset color theme applied. For a lot of agencies that is genuinely enough, because most clients open the emailed PDF and never log in to anything.

AgencyAnalytics does include a client portal, with branded client logins to a live view of their own campaigns, and unlimited client users at no extra cost. The practical difference shows up in two places: clients who want to check numbers between reporting cycles, and pitches where a branded login is part of what you are selling. If neither applies to your book of business, you are paying for a feature you will not use.

Worth noting that neither approach solves the underlying reporting problem, which is that a client looking at eight channel tiles still cannot tell you what the whole account returned. That is a different question from where the report is hosted, and we go into it in blended ROAS.

What neither tool does with your ad spend

Both products are reporting layers. They pull each platform through its own API and present the numbers side by side, faithfully and on schedule. What neither does is reconcile those numbers against each other, and that is where client reporting quietly goes wrong.

Google Ads books a conversion to the date of the click, GA4 books it to the date of the event, and Meta attributes on a 1-day or 7-day click window after removing its view-through options in January 2026. Add the revenue each platform reports and you overstate the real total by roughly 20% to 40%, because the same order gets claimed more than once. A dashboard that shows all three tiles honestly still shows a total that never happened.

MixedMetrics is built for the other half of that job: pulling GA4, Google Ads, Meta, TikTok, Search Console, Shopify, Stripe and Klaviyo into one board and computing blended ROAS, blended CAC, MER and LTV:CAC against the revenue your store and billing system actually recorded, at $79 a month flat regardless of client count. We are honest about the trade: no white-label client portal and no warehouse export, so if a branded client login is the deliverable you sell, AgencyAnalytics does that and we do not. Good questions

Questions about agencyanalytics vs dashthis

AgencyAnalytics is the more complete platform, with roughly 85 integrations, a branded client portal, full white labeling and rank tracking as an add-on. DashThis is simpler and cheaper past 7 clients, with unlimited users and every integration on every plan, but it has around 30 integrations and no client portal at all.
From about 7 clients upward, yes, and the gap widens. At 25 clients it is $279 against $500 and at 50 clients $429 against $1,000. Below that it flips twice: AgencyAnalytics is cheaper at 2 clients and again at 5 to 6 clients, because a fifth dashboard pushes DashThis onto the $139 Professional plan.
Four tiers billed yearly: Individual $44, Professional $139, Business $279 and Standard $429 a month, for 3, 10, 25 and 50 dashboards and 15, 40, 100 and 200 connected sources. Monthly billing is $54, $164, $324 and $499. Users are unlimited and every integration is available on every plan.
$20 USD per client per month billed annually on one plan with every feature unlocked, including unlimited staff and client users, 85+ integrations, white labeling, the client portal and MCP access for ChatGPT and Claude. Rank tracking is a $41.67 per month add-on per 500 keywords, and the AI Tracker add-on is $20.83 per month per 250 credits.
No. DashThis shares reports as a live URL, a PDF export or a scheduled email from your own custom sender address, with your logo and a preset color theme. AgencyAnalytics does include a branded client portal with unlimited client logins, so this is the clearest feature difference between the two.
DashThis offers around 30 marketing platforms and makes the full catalogue available on every plan, so you buy connected-account count rather than platform access. AgencyAnalytics publishes 85+ integrations, also all included. If your clients need Klaviyo, call tracking or less common ad networks, check both catalogues before you commit.
Neither computes blended ROAS against your actual store and billing revenue. Both display each ad platform side by side using that platform self-reported numbers, which double count the same orders and overstate the true total by roughly 20% to 40%. Reconciling that requires joining ad spend to order-level revenue, which is what MixedMetrics does at $79 a month.
