Swydo vs Whatagraph: Cost and Which to Buy

Both tools meter the same unit, a connected data account, so the comparison is unusually clean. Swydo is $62 a month billed annually with the first 10 sources included and $4.50 for each one after that. Whatagraph starts at $812 a month billed annually for 50 source credits, with no monthly billing and no self-serve signup. At 50 connected accounts that is $242 against $812. Here is what the extra $570 buys, and which agency should pay it.

The short version. Swydo and Whatagraph are both agency reporting tools that charge per connected data account, and that is where the similarity ends. Swydo is $62 a month billed annually ($69 monthly) with the first 10 sources included and $4.50 a month per extra source, sold self-serve on one plan. Whatagraph Max starts from $812 a month billed annually for 50 source credits, annual only, demo to buy. At 50 connected accounts that is $242 against $812. Whatagraph earns the difference on blending, polish and warehouse output; Swydo wins on price, flexibility and how fast you can start. Every number here was read off swydo.com/pricing and whatagraph.com/pricing in September 2026.

Swydo vs Whatagraph on price: the same 50 sources, two very different bills

Most tool comparisons get muddy because the two vendors meter different things. Not here. Swydo counts data sources: every account you connect to an integration is one source, so 10 clients on Google Ads and Facebook Ads is 20. Whatagraph counts source credits: one credit is one connected data account, one Facebook Ads account for example. Same unit, so you can line the ladders up directly.

50$242 a month$812 a month3.4x

200$767 a monthPrime, quotedNot published

The Swydo column is arithmetic off the published rates: $62 base, $4.50 for each source from 11 to 100, $3.00 from 101 to 500, $2.00 past 500, and a custom quote past 1,000. The Whatagraph column stops publishing at 50 credits. Whatagraph says you can buy extra credits until you reach the next plan threshold, then upgrade to Prime, but neither the extra-credit price nor the threshold is printed, so above 50 the honest entry is a quote.

Two structural points matter more than any single row. First, Whatagraph has no monthly billing. Max is from $812 a month billed annually, which means the smallest possible decision is $9,744 committed up front. Swydo bills monthly at $69 if you want it to. Second, Whatagraph has no self-serve signup: the button is Get a demo. Swydo lets you start and add sources one at a time as clients come through client intake, which is how most agencies under 30 clients actually grow.

One thing not to be confused by: a European visitor sees Whatagraph Max at EUR 699 and a US visitor sees $812. At roughly 1.16 dollars to the euro that is the same price for the same 50-credit plan, shown in local currency. It is not a cheaper tier.

What the extra $570 a month actually buys

Whatagraph is not overpriced Swydo. It sells to a different agency, and at 50 sources the $570 gap pays for four things Swydo does not do, or does less of.

Blending. Whatagraph's source groups and source blends let you build a metric across accounts, say cost per lead across every paid channel for one client, and reuse it in every report. Swydo has combined ad data sources and custom metrics, which covers the common case (total spend and total conversions across Google and Meta) but is a lighter tool than a full transformation layer.

Presentation. Whatagraph's whole pitch is that the report is the deliverable, and its report builder, pre-made themes and Whatagraph IQ summaries are built for agencies whose clients judge the PDF. Swydo reports are perfectly serviceable and fully white labeled, but nobody buys Swydo for how the report looks.

Warehouse output. If you want report data in BigQuery or Looker Studio, only Whatagraph offers it, and only on Prime (BigQuery transfer is listed as unavailable on Max). Swydo has no warehouse or spreadsheet export path at all. For a 10-client agency this is irrelevant; for a 200-client agency with an analyst, it can decide the purchase.

Premium connectors. Whatagraph splits its library into Advanced, included on Max, and Premium, Prime only. Swydo's 38+ integrations are all on the one plan, but 38 is a shorter list, and if your clients run on a niche platform, check it exists before you compare prices.

Swydo or Whatagraph: who should buy which

Buy Swydo if you have fewer than about 50 connected accounts, you want to pay monthly, your clients mostly run Google Ads, Meta, GA4, Microsoft Ads, LinkedIn or TikTok, and the report is a monthly proof of work rather than the product you sell. The per-source ladder means a new client with two ad accounts costs you $9 a month more, which is easy to price into the retainer. Swydo's monitoring side, automated source health checks and a cross-client KPI screen, is the part of the product that keeps working between report dates.

Buy Whatagraph if you are already past 50 sources, so the credit minimum is capacity you will use; your fee includes presentation-grade reporting; you blend data across sources into custom metrics as a matter of routine; or you need BigQuery or Looker Studio output, in which case you are a Prime buyer and the quote is the price. Annual billing is a feature, not a bug, for an agency that budgets a year at a time.

Neither if the question you actually need answered is not "what did each client's campaigns do" but "is our own spend paying back across every channel". Client reporting tools produce reports. They do not compute blended ROAS, blended CAC or MER for the whole book of business, and they do not tell you which channel is leaking budget this week. That is a different product, and it is what MixedMetrics is: connect ad platforms, store and billing read-only and get blended ROAS, blended CAC, MER, LTV and LTV:CAC on one live board from $79 a month, with an AI layer on the $199 Growth plan that flags where spend is leaking. It has no white-label client portal and it is not a Swydo or Whatagraph replacement for client deliverables; it sits beside them.

Where the wider field lands

If the shortlist is longer than two, the pattern holds across the category. AgencyAnalytics is $20 per client a month billed annually with every feature included, so it beats Swydo up to three clients ($60 against $62) and loses from four clients up. DashThis runs $44 to $429 a month metered on dashboards and sources together, and lands between Swydo and Whatagraph at most sizes. Raven Tools is $39 to $399 a month but only connects Google, Bing and Facebook ads. TapClicks pricing is quote-only and NinjaCat publishes no price at all. The full nine-tool comparison, with what each meters, is on agency reporting software, and the per-client math at 10, 25 and 50 clients is on agency reporting software pricing.

For the individual ladders in full, including what happens past the published tiers, see Swydo pricing and Whatagraph pricing. If you are leaving one of the two rather than choosing between them, Swydo alternative and Whatagraph alternative compare each against the rest of the field.

Which is cheaper, Swydo or Whatagraph?

Swydo, at every published size. Swydo is $62 a month billed annually ($69 monthly) with the first 10 data sources included and $4.50 a month for each source from 11 to 100, $3.00 from 101 to 500 and $2.00 past 500. Whatagraph Max starts from $812 a month billed annually for 50 source credits and has no monthly option. At 50 connected accounts that is $242 for Swydo against $812 for Whatagraph.

Do Swydo and Whatagraph meter the same thing?

Yes, which is what makes this comparison clean. Both count connected data accounts. Swydo calls them data sources: connect 10 clients to Google Ads and Facebook Ads and that is 20 sources. Whatagraph calls them source credits: one credit is one connected data account. Both give unlimited users and unlimited reports on the plans compared here, and Swydo adds unlimited clients and dashboards explicitly.

Does Whatagraph have monthly billing or a free plan?

No to both. Whatagraph Max is billed annually, from $812 a month, so the entry decision is $9,744 committed up front, and there is no free plan and no self-serve checkout. Swydo bills monthly at $69 or annually at $62, and sources are added one at a time. If cash flow or a short client contract makes annual commitment a problem, that alone settles the choice.

Which agency should pick Whatagraph over Swydo?

An agency that already runs 50 or more connected accounts, sells visually heavy reports where presentation is part of the fee, blends data across sources into custom metrics as routine, or plans to push report data into BigQuery or Looker Studio (Prime). Below about 50 sources the credit minimum means paying for capacity you do not use. Everyone else, and anyone who needs monthly billing, is better served by Swydo, and anyone whose real question is whole-business payback rather than per-client reporting needs a blended dashboard instead of either.
