Porter Metrics Pricing: $15 to $2 per Account

Porter Metrics charges per connected data source account, not per plan: $15 a month for one account, $8 each from 5 to 12, a flat $100 from 13 to 20, falling to $2 each from 200. Annual billing gives 2 months free. The ladder has cliffs, so 40 accounts cost $180 while 39 cost $195.

Porter Metrics charges per connected data source account, not per plan. One account costs $15 a month, five cost $40, anything from 13 to 20 costs a flat $100, and the rate keeps falling to $2 an account from 200. Paying annually gives you 2 months free, so a single account works out to $12.50 a month. We read every figure below off portermetrics.com and Porter's own help center in September 2026.

The ladder has a quirk worth knowing before you connect your last few clients: the lower rate applies to every account in a band, so there are points where adding accounts shrinks the bill. 39 accounts cost $195 a month and 40 cost $180.

How much does Porter Metrics cost?

Porter used to sell named plans, and several review sites still quote them (Solo at $14.99, Teams at $39.99, Agencies at $99.99). Its help center now says plainly that there are no fixed named plans. You pick how many accounts to connect and the price follows this monthly ladder:

Connected accountsMonthly priceExample monthly totalSame total billed annually, per month
1$15$15$12.50
2$15 each$30$25
3$39.99 total$39.99$33.33
4$40 total$40$33.33
5 to 12$8 each$80 at 10 accounts$66.67
13 to 20$100 flat$100 at any count in the band$83.33
21 to 39$5 each$150 at 30 accounts$125
40 to 49$4.50 each$180 at 40 accounts$150
50 to 69$4 each$240 at 60 accounts$200
70 to 99$3 each$225 at 75 accounts$187.50
100 to 109$2.70 each$270 at 100 accounts$225
110 to 119$2.50 each$275 at 110 accounts$229.17
120 to 149$2.30 each$276 at 120 accounts$230
150 to 199$2.10 each$315 at 150 accounts$262.50
200 and up$2 each$400 at 200 accounts$333.33

Annual billing is charged up front for the year and is worth two months, which Porter describes as about 17 percent off. One account billed annually is $150 for the year. Above 200 accounts the list rate is $2 each, and the help center invites you to book a call to price it directly.

Every plan includes unlimited users, unlimited reports and every destination: Looker Studio (which Google has renamed back to Data Studio), Google Sheets, Power BI, and AI chats in Claude and ChatGPT through Porter's MCP. One connected account can feed as many reports as you like, so you never pay twice for the same Meta ad account appearing in three client dashboards.

What counts as one account in Porter Metrics?

Porter bills whatever the platform itself calls an account. One Meta ad account is one account, one GA4 property is one, one Shopify store is one, and one Facebook page or Instagram profile is one. Two details change the count more than people expect:

  • Google Ads manager accounts are free. The MCC itself is not billed, but every ad account under it that you connect is.
  • Google Business Profile is bundled. Every 10 locations count as a single account, which makes Porter unusually cheap for multi-location local businesses.
  • Idle accounts still count. A connected account is billed whether or not it spent anything that month. Disconnect it and the slot frees up for another.

You are only billed for accounts that connect and return data, so authorizing access to a client's whole business portfolio costs nothing until you actually pull from it. Porter lists 30+ data sources on its pricing page. For a platform outside that list, teams usually push the figures into Google Sheets, which Porter reads, or collect them on a schedule with an AI web scraper and report on the sheet.

Why 40 accounts cost less than 39

Each band's rate applies to every connected account, so crossing into a cheaper band reprices the whole bill downward. Here is every point on the ladder where one more account lowers the monthly total:

AccountsMonthly totalAdd accounts toNew monthly totalChange
4$405$40The 5th account is free
39$19540$180$15 less
49$220.5050$200$20.50 less
69$27670$210$66 less
99$297100$270$27 less
149$342.70150$315$27.70 less
199$417.90200$400$17.90 less

The 69 to 70 step is the big one: $66 a month, or $792 a year on monthly billing, for connecting one more account. The flat $100 band from 13 to 20 works the same way in reverse. An agency at 13 accounts can add seven more at no cost, so fill the band before you start paying $5 an account from 21.

The practical rule: before you disconnect a churned client, check whether it drops you into a more expensive band. Leaving one dormant account connected can be cheaper than removing it.

What Porter Metrics costs for a brand and for an agency

Four common setups, priced on the monthly ladder with the annual equivalent in brackets:

  • In-house ecommerce brand. Google Ads, one Meta ad account, a GA4 property, a Shopify store and a HubSpot portal is 5 accounts: $40 a month ($33.33 billed annually, $400 a year).
  • Agency with 10 clients, each on Google Ads, Meta and GA4, is 30 accounts: $150 a month ($125 annually), or $15 per client before the annual discount.
  • Agency with 13 clients on the same three platforms is 39 accounts at $195. Connecting one more account, even an internal test property, takes it to $180.
  • Agency with 25 clients is 75 accounts at $3 each: $225 a month ($187.50 annually), or $9 per client.

For agencies this is cheap. Per-client reporting tools like AgencyAnalytics charge $20 a client a month on annual billing, so 25 clients there is $500 against Porter's $187.50. The difference is what you get for the money: Porter moves the data into Looker Studio or Sheets and you build the client report yourself. Our agency reporting software comparison prices the finished-report tools by what each one meters.

Is there a Porter Metrics free plan?

Yes, and it is more generous than most in the category. Every account starts on a 14-day trial with everything unlimited and no card required. When it ends you drop to a free-forever plan rather than losing access. Reporting on the free plan keeps unlimited connected accounts but caps history at 30 days, keeps AI chats for 15 days, and puts a Porter badge on your dashboards. Porter's Automation product, which lets an AI run tasks inside your ad and social accounts, is billed separately in credits and gives free users 100 credits a month.

The 30-day history cap is what pushes most teams to pay. A month-over-month comparison needs at least 60 days, and any year-over-year view needs a year.

What Porter Metrics pricing does not include

  • BigQuery. It is not part of any paid Reporting plan. You can test it on the free plan with 30 days of data, or buy it as part of Enterprise, which is priced on a call.
  • AI audits. Porter's pricing page marks these as included only from $83 a month subscriptions.
  • Automation. Reporting and Automation are sold separately or together. Reporting is the per-account ladder above; Automation runs on monthly credits that reset each cycle and do not roll over.

White labeling is included on paid plans: Porter can pull each client's branding and colors into dashboards, and paid plans show no Porter badge. One subscription covers all your clients.

Porter Metrics vs Supermetrics, Coupler.io and Windsor.ai on price

Porter competes with the other marketing data connectors, and they all meter something different. That matters more than the entry price. Here is how the four compare for the 30-account agency above, on annual billing, using prices each vendor publishes:

ToolWhat it metersEntry price, billed yearly30 accounts across 3 platforms
Porter MetricsConnected accounts only$12.50 a month for 1 account$125 a month
Coupler.ioAccounts, destinations, users and refresh$24 a month for 3 accounts$199 a month on Pro (50 accounts)
Windsor.aiData source types, with a separate account cap$19 a month for 3 sources$19 a month on Basic (3 sources, 75 accounts)
SupermetricsSources, accounts per source, users and destinations$44 a month (Starter)Growth at $177 or a quote, depending on your account caps

Windsor.ai is the surprise. Because it meters data source types rather than accounts, three platforms across 30 client accounts fit its $19 Basic plan, where Porter charges $125. Porter pulls ahead once you add platforms: a brand connecting 8 different tools with one account each pays Porter $64 a month, while Windsor needs its $249 Plus plan for 10 source types. Our Windsor.ai pricing breakdown and Supermetrics pricing guide cover those two meters in detail, and the marketing data platform pricing comparison lines up seven vendors side by side.

Is Porter Metrics worth it?

If you already live in Looker Studio or Sheets and want the cheapest reliable pipe into them, yes. Porter is transparent, the free tier is real, and at agency scale the per-account rate drops to a few dollars. Few competitors publish a ladder this complete.

The price on the ladder is not the whole cost, though. Porter delivers the data; you still design the report, define the metrics, and keep the formulas right when a platform renames a field. That is usually fine for a single view of one channel. It gets expensive in staff time when the question is cross-channel: what did total ad spend across Google, Meta and TikTok actually return in revenue your store recorded? Adding up what each platform claims overstates the real total, because each network counts conversions the others also count. We explain the mechanics in why ad platform numbers don't match.

That join is the part MixedMetrics does for you. It reads Google Ads, Meta, TikTok, GA4, Shopify, Stripe and Klaviyo or HubSpot read-only and shows blended ROAS, blended CAC and MER against revenue that actually landed, with nothing to build in Looker Studio. Plans are $79 a month for 5 connected sources, $199 for 15 sources with AI insights, and $449 for unlimited sources with white-label client reports. For a 30-account agency that makes Porter the cheaper pipe and MixedMetrics the finished board. Pick Porter if you enjoy building the report. Pick us if the report is the thing you are tired of building.
